Congratulations to Gareth just edging John Rice. Disappointment for Steve Morton on his first outing making a wrong turning. We've all done it. A beautiful evening for racing and only the lightest of winds. In fact had I not been timing I might have been tempted.......... to go down to the Hollybush for a pint of Brakspear in the garden.

Why would you want to spend £3 on a pint relaxing in a beer garden on a beautiful evening when you can spend it putting yourself through 35-ish minutes of sheer pain?!
Pleased with my big PB which shows how tentative I must have been in my April début (though it didn't feel that way then).

Neil,
I have you down as having done a 36-11 in 2011 which is driving the handicap. If this is wrong please let me know and I can change. Best Simon
