Paramount Spring RR result

Another second place in an extremely windy 70 mile road race (cats 2/3/4) near Shrewsbury yesterday morning. Only about a third who started, finished.
I attacked on the first of the two final accents and gained a small lead but then blew up and another rider flew past me and I wasn't able to hold his wheel, I managed to scrape together a bit of leftover energy to really push hard up the final accent and sprint to the line to beat 3rd place.
Very happy, but I was very sore as it was my longest race yet with a fairly quality field!
Prize - £40 and a lovely medallion
Points - 25 (Now a 2nd cat rider)
