Shouldn't Tim Egan be on the best improvement list? By my reckoning he was almost 27 minutes faster this year than last.

I think my improvement was 12:19? Will likely drop off the bottom of this list, though.

Every competitor will receive a picture of him/herself with the result sheet. Here are a couple to be going on with:

Tim's PB improved by exactly 2 minutes from 2:34:41 to 2:32:31

He was down as finishing in something like 2:07 on the board, and I would have passed him if he'd have taken 2:32, which I didn't. :?

Would George have been hiding in the grass if the weather was like last year? I think not!

My time was 2 hours 7mins something and it did say that on the board.

My garmin has 2hrs7mins45seconds and I started it 3-10seconds after starting and 1-3 seconds after the finish line.

However, if you want to keep it at 2hrs32, I will look forward to taking the £30 next year for best PB when I go sub 2hours! :D

Can I just say a massive thanks to all organisers/marshals/time-keepers, a big operation and a truly brilliant event.

Well done all the riders.
AND a big thank you to all of the volunteers who made today's LMTT possible

John has checked the times and I have corrected the list above. Congratulations on 3rd best PB improvement! John says the cheque is in the post.

What a great event once again. Huge thanks to John, the marshals, helpers and all envolved.

Pleased with my time although being stuck behind a horse wagon for a mile or so cost me at least 1,37 !
Never thought I'd even get close to the 2 hour mark.

Particular congratulations to Sean and Richard for truly fantastic times riding road machines - absolutely superb .

Apologies for any young children who may have been frightened by a glimpse of my wild snotty grimace along the last three miles.

Finally, thanks a million for Matt and the lads at the last turn for the shouts of encouragement it helps more than you know ....

Well done all especially Beaconites, some good times in there! I can barely comprehend someone doing that course in 1:36:11; that's seriously quick

Well that's really made my day. Will I ever again be sandwiched between Matt Clinton and Danny Axford on a results sheet ?

Thanks to all of the organisers and helpers from me too. I managed to miss one of the turns when recceing the course in the week, so I really appreciated the quality of the marshalling. I'm pretty sure that I promised to myself part-way round that I wouldn't ever enter again, but I'll be back next year to better that time.

Thanks Andy & Charles.

I didn't know what to expect after last year's conditions so I'm really happy. Well done to all who raced, I'm truly amazed at all the sub 2hr times on road bikes.

Some great pics there, but please delete the one of me stretching at the start, looks v wrong!

Once again thanks to everyone involved in this race, it's become the first event I look for at the start of the season even though yesterday has left me questioning if it's worth carrying on racing!!

I think I was probably the only person to go slower than last year (by around 2.5 minutes) At least it means I've still got a shot at the best improver next year if I haven't thrown the bike in the skip by then

Big Thanks to all the marshals and helpers, we did a great job on Sunday, We can be proud that the Beacon can put on a classic professionally run event.
