My choice of CX bike was NOT the right one today. I really felt that extra weight, especially those heavy wheels - oh well next yr I will do better

Great to see a big turnout on a day that, if not the washout we were fearing a day or two back, was not the most cycle-friendly of occasions.

That was really close. Gary just survived on the final day. Martin needed 2 seconds to grab one more point and finish equal with Gary or 5 more seconds for two more points and outright winner. That must be the closest handicap comp we have had for some time - did Phil just pip Neil on the hill climb some years back? Congrats to everyone involved particularly Gary and Martin and the pack snapping at their heels, and of course to Sean for winning the HC. Points for the HC handicap are below and further below are the results for the championship.
