Wolverhampton Wheelers circuit race Stourport 31/3/12

Well my season started with a bang literally when I crashed during the warm up  , causing the tyre to come off the rim of my rear wheel.
Luckily, Simon Dighton lent me his wheel and I was able to start the race.
I now need a new helmet, skinsuit and gloves oh well not cheap this racing lark!!!!!!!!!

Tough luck, Gary. Didn't seem to affect your form to much, though.

Well done Gary and Greg. I see that Gareth was in action in the E/1/2/3 race too.

There are lots of photos of the event here: http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/road/a ... tourport-0

Well done Gary and Greg. Think I'll stick to 'cross: softer crash landings!

Brilliant result all things considered Gary

Hmm, did you pull a tyre of your wheel in at a closed circuit last year too? It's all that speedy cornering you do!
