D Run 2 Cyclists Memorial Service Sunday 19th May 2024
Hi All
I will lead a D Run to Meriden for the cyclists memorial at Meriden on Sunday as the service is at 11am and if you fancy we can have a bite at Berryfields before the memorial. Usual pace of 11mph.
ROUTE CHANGE BELOW FOR A MORE DIRECT ROUTE THERE
Route here...... https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46624894
I have changed the route back, a bit boring, but we need to avoid the Knowle Fun Run that runs on the same day and there are lots of road closures
Meet at BH Northfiled for a 8 am start, we will aim to get to Berryfileds for a bacon butty, or whatever, at around 10am, then onto the memorial for 10-45 ish
55 mile round trip at ave 11 mph
Times dependent on a smooth run up to Meriden so plans may change
Put names down below or contact me on 07961 20 22 34

Lovely ride to the 103rd Cyclists Memorial Service in Meriden, that was the fastest ave speed i have done going to Meriden at 22 kph, around 13.5 mph which drew a few raised eyebrows from some of the slower guys but they were happy i got them to the Berryfields Cafe for brekkies, took it slower coming back though but well pleased with that ave speed, might join a C run soon, NOT

Beautiful service for all the cyclists lost in world wars in beautiful sunshine with the added pleasure of sampling the cakes after made by the WI
