Audaxes
Beacon
RCC organises two programmes of calendar Audax rides each
year and a permanent audax that can be ridden at a time to
suit yourself.
The "Express" Audax rides
take place in February, with two route options through the
lanes of Worcestershire.
The "Autumn" Audax offers
a new 200km route each year.
The "Kidderminster
Killer" and "From
Clee to Heaven" audaxes start from Belbroughton near
Kidderminster and offer a choice of 200km or 120km rides in
August taking in The Long Mynd and Clee Hills respectively.
The "Montgomery Madness"
Audax is a challenging, scenic 208km permanent audax taking
in Bewdley, Bromyard, Ludlow, Knighton, Montgomery and Bridgnorth.
Audaxes are challenging but non-competitive rides that cater
for a wide range of ambition levels. For details of what an
Audax ride entails see our description
of audaxes.
If you are a Beacon member looking for advice on getting
involved in other Audaxes, please refer to our section on
other
cycling events. Alternatively, to check out the full national
