Midweek Rides
 For
those who can make the time midweek, there is an informally
arranged social ride on Thursdays. This is not an official
Beacon club run but there is normally a good number of Beacon
members taking part along with other local cyclists.
The ride has no formal leader and, depending upon numbers,
normally splits into various separate groups. There is invariably
a small group that proceeds at a gentle pace which would be
ideal for beginners.
Cafe stops vary and are agreed at the start but typical destinations
include Alcester, Droitwich and Hartlebury. The group meets
for a 10am departure from the junction of Alcester Road and
Holyoaks Lane, just behind the Tardebigge Pub and A448 road
bridge [map].
